About us

My name is Lucy, I live in Ringmer and grew up here. I have been a dog owner for 25 years (and a dog lover for many years before that!) I have 3 dogs of my own and enjoy spending time with them and understanding their behaviour.

I understand the pressure for dog owners that are out of the house for periods of time. The need to make provisions for your dog, and having peace of mind that they will be well cared for.

​

We offer dog walking, training, and behavioural support as well as other pet services (see dog walking and pet services). 

We work Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm for walking, and you can request block bookings or just one-off walks for those special days out. We will never walk more than 6 dogs at any one time, in line with our insurance policy. Very often we will have smaller groups to suit the individual needs of some of the dogs.

Training and behavioural support is bookable for evenings and weekends. Before meeting you will be asked to complete a pre-visit form for your dog.

• We are fully insured and DBS checked (previously CRB).

• We have Canine Basic First Aid.

• I have Canine Behaviour Level 2 (Plumpton College) and passed with distinction the advanced Level 3 (Plumpton College).

• I have completed my FdSc Applied Canine Behaviour and training at Bishop Burton College., achieving a Merit.

• I have attended a clicker training workshop run by Jo-Rosie Haffenden.

• I am a full member of The Pet Professional Guild. 

In September 2015 Anna joined me in the walking side of the business. I've known Anna for over 20 years and she joined Waggy Walks Ringmer fully insured, CRB checked, with a canine first aid certificate and just a little mention of the degree in Equine Sports Performance (yes she can look after horses too!)
